Six words that sum up what ULA is about. It's a journey from surviving to thriving, in body, mind and spirit, and it's the promise we make to everyone who walks through the door.
Strength to change
Change isn't easy, especially when you've been knocked down, written off or stuck in patterns that feel too deep to break. We believe nobody is too far gone and nothing is too broken to be restored. Strength to change comes from Jesus Christ, not willpower alone. We don't just help people fight in the gym. We help them fight for their identity, their purpose and their future.
Power to grow
Once someone finds the strength to change, the next step is learning to grow, in character, confidence, faith and vision. Growth happens in the gym, where discipline and courage are forged. In the classroom, where old lies are replaced by truth. In creative spaces, where gifts are discovered. And in quiet moments, where prayer, Scripture and mentoring take root.

What we see
Unity Life Academy exists to see people transformed in mind, body and spirit, rising above the limits of their circumstances and stepping boldly into the futures they were created for. Rooted in Christian faith and guided by Romans 12:2, "be transformed by the renewing of your mind", we believe lasting change begins on the inside.
Through boxing, mindset coaching and community, we help people discover their true identity, build resilience and unlock their God-given potential. Whether someone comes through the doors to train, to talk, or simply to belong, they're met with strength, support and purpose.
We see a future where people of all ages rise out of places that are often overlooked, where lives are no longer defined by fear, failure or statistics, but by faith, strength and opportunity. Unity Life Academy is not just a building. It's a movement: building champions in the community, and in life.

What we do about it
Our mission is to create a safe, vibrant, faith rooted environment where people of all ages are empowered to grow stronger in body, mind and spirit.
We believe that everyone, whatever their background, age or ability, carries untapped potential and a unique purpose. Through boxing, mentoring, mindset coaching, creativity, healthy living and community support, we provide real opportunities for growth and transformation, grounded in biblical principles.
Whether someone walks through the door looking for fitness, belonging, direction or a fresh start, they're met with compassion, challenge and hope. Our programmes are built to grow resilience, uncover identity and equip people to face life with confidence, rooted in the belief that true change begins within.
We exist to break cycles, build lives and raise up people who can influence their homes, their communities and beyond.

Our faith
Where our faith sits
Two scriptures shape ULA. Romans 12:2 underpins the mindset work: transformation starts with the renewing of the mind. Philippians 4:13 is the foundation of the whole academy: through Christ there is strength to endure, to build resilience and to grow beyond what we thought were our limits.
Prayer and the Bible are at the heart of how ULA is led. That's true whoever is in the room.
And ULA is for everyone. People of any faith or none train together, learn together and belong together. Nobody is asked to believe anything to take part, and nobody is treated differently for what they believe.

Eight values that shape everything
These aren't words on a wall. They're how we run sessions, how we speak to people, and how we make decisions.
Unity and community
We stand stronger when we do everything together. Across race, age, background and belief, we build a culture of trust, collaboration and love. We're not just a team, we're a community. A place where people feel seen, supported and part of something bigger than themselves. We're about being connected, not about competition, and we welcome partners, because standing with others makes us stronger.

Faith
Jesus is the centre of Unity Life Academy, and our faith shapes the way we lead, serve, love and live. Prayer is the engine room of everything we do. It fuels our vision, anchors our decisions and keeps us connected to the one who gives true strength. The Bible is our foundation and the first place we turn for wisdom, direction and truth. We don't just move in our own power. We move in step with God.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will direct your paths.
Belonging
We are family, and that means no one is left behind. Everyone who walks through the doors is treated with respect, dignity and love. We embrace people as they are and walk with them into who they can become.

Excellence
We give our best in everything, from the boxing and mindset sessions we run to the way we speak to people. We don't cut corners, because every person is worth more. Excellence doesn't mean perfection. It means care, consistency and raising the bar.

Creativity
We champion expression and fresh ideas in every form, through boxing, mindset coaching, DJing, music, filmmaking and gaming. Unity Life Academy is a space to discover your talents, experiment boldly and find your voice. Creativity here isn't just about making things. It's about sparking hope, generating ideas and opening new pathways for the future.

Servanthood
We lead by lifting others up. No job is too small and no person is beneath us. We model humility, generosity and compassion in how we show up, serve and support each other and our community.

Transformation
We believe everyone can change, no matter where they've come from. We create space for growth, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Whether it's throwing a punch or facing your past, transformation happens when you're consistent, supported and willing.

Encouragement is the fuel that turns small steps into big growth. At Unity we cheer, mentor and challenge each other, creating a space where every voice is heard, every talent is nurtured and everyone belongs.
